This particular filter is just an example of the fuel filter for an '02 GMC Yukon XL. The link I've provided is specifically for regular unleaded fuel. If your Yukon is a "Flex Fuel" (can use either unleaded or E85 gasoline) the specific filter/part number will be different. Otherwise the filter itself looks exactly the same. And if you're not certain, the filter should be located along the driver side inner frame rail...below the driver's seat.
Good luck

The passenger side 2nd row release lever is at the lower right corner. On the driver side, there is no release lever, just a pull ******** the center of the seat, that sometimes falls between the seat.
Hello Weaver124!
Open the tailgate(s) completely and you'll find two phillips-head screws on the inside edge of the tail light assembly. Take out those two screws (keep one hand on the assembly when you remove the last screw) and the whole tail light assembly will come off of the vehicle. On the back side of the tail light assembly, twist and remove the light bulb housing for the blown bulb. The bulbs themselves on some models vary in the manner in which they are removed: (1) If the base on the bottom of the bulb itself is a *round* brass base, press down on the bulb then twist it to remove it, or (2) If the base on the bottom of the bulb itself is *flat* plastic, pull the bulb straight out of the assembly. To replace the bulb, simply reverse the order. Best wishes!
FYI- I'm taking a shot at this one based on my 2003 Montana so take it for what it's worth.
My van seats have a very small level on the drivers side of each seat. Pushing the lever down allows the seats to fold down while pulling the lever up allows them to recline. There is also a small ******** the back side of each seat which when pulled allows them to be folded down.
Hopefully your 2003 Yukon seats are similar to my 2003 Montana seats and this will work for you
The location is on the driver side frame rail on the inside a few feet from the fuel tank forward. You need remove the negative terminal from the battery then open the gas cap to relieve the pressure then loosen the filter ie.open end wench or crecent wrench discard filter make sure the flow indicator is going the correct way away from tank. Tighten new filter connect, battery terminal, prime fuel lines by switching the key forward a few times then start. Good Luck
was it ever in an accident on the left door? You can roll the window down and grab the top of the door and pull it inwards, in effect bending the door frame! I had the same problem.... and this fixed it!
under hood on the passenger side in a box follow black tube from engine to the passenger side big black box cover is held on with four philips screws or four torx screws, remove the screws and lift the cover air filter inside.
