Call auto zone and see if they have the complete hub assembly for your car! I have a 2000 malibu, and I replaced my hub and bearing a few months ago. then you will not need to press bearing in, if you can buy the whole assembly it will be much easier on the wallet. I think mine was about 60.00 at auto zone. thats for hub and bearing already in hub.heres how I did it.remove the axle nut while its on the ground, its much easier, jack up car and remove wheel. remove the brake caliper bolts and remove caliper, the caliper mounting bracket too. do not let caliper hang by the rubber hose, just hang it on the coil spring with a bungee strap. remove the rotor, 3 bolts hold hub and bearing on, if hub assembly is stuck just tap it with a hammer to knock it loose. put on new hub tighten to specifications. if you need more info, you can go to any auto parts store and buy a haynes manual for your car. this book is based on a complete teardown of vehicle. for about 25.00. it will show and tell you how to do the job. good-day !

If you are talking about the front wheel bearings they are pressed in and you need a floor press to press them out and new one's back in
if you only have one bad and making noise just do that one for now and do the other one when you save more money up.

How do I change the front Wheel bearings on a 2008 Chevy Malibu Lt 2.4L?

You will need to remove the axle nut and separate the lower ball joint. Remove the brake caliper, caliper bracket and rotor. Then pull the spindle off of the axle to allow you to get to the three bolts on the back of the spindle that hold the wheel bearing to the spindle. You will also need to unplug your ABS connector. Install in reverse order.

Do you need to have a special tool to change a front wheel bearing on a Kia Sportage 4x4

Any front drive car will be more complex to change a front wheel bearing than the old read-drive cars. It may indeed need a special tool.

How to program keyless entry remote for 2009 chevy malibu

Unfortunately your 2009 Chevy Malibu key fob does not have any self programming procedures. You have to have a professional program this key fob to your vehicle. I do have a couple money saving tips for you:

1) Purchase your Malibu key fob online at https://www.keylessentryremotefob.com/Chevrolet-Malibu-Remotes-and-Keys-s/3733.htm

2) Call a locksmith for programming. They are usually more affordable and they come to you.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE TIE ROD END AND THE BALL BEARING IN AN 01 MUSTANG AT HOME OR DO I NEED TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP TO HAVE IT DONE

Good Evening, I have ended up doing the same thing before at the shop with a floor jack when our lift was tied up. With the right tools (autozone has a loaner tool program for more special tools) for what you are doing you should be able to do it with general knowledge remember you will need an alignment when you are done, and also safety first which means jack stands and wheel chocks.

Replace idler arm/pitman arm

Don't worry it is not too hard if you keep at. One "special tool" that you will need is a ball joint separator to separate the ball joint on the idler arm from the steering. When changing make sure to compare your replacement parts with the original and if necessary make a diagram of how things go together. On the bottom, there is a castle nut and a cotter pin. Remove the pin and loosen the nut then use the ball joint separator to remove the idler arm. (This is the hardest part of the job.) Then remove the remaining bolts and take the part off. Before putting the new idler arm make sure that you put the new grease fitting on it (and go ahead and squirt a little grease in it even though it already has some) and in between the new ball joint and the steering there should be a plastic bearing that slips into place. It's a pretty straight forward job and once you take a good look at it you will see what all needs to be done. Hope this helps, let me know how it goes. Goodluck!

Chaning right wheel bearing on 1999 Chevy Malibu

It is much easier, and cheaper to find a steering knuckle or "hub assembly" in a salvage yard.
To begin, jack up the car and remove the wheel. Be certain the car is stable and will not roll off jack(s)!
Remove the spindle nut. Remove the brake caliper (hang on a wire). Remove the bolt for lower ball join. Remove the bolt that goes thru strut. Now, pull assembly off while prying to ease pressure from the lower control arm.
Depending on how many miles you have on the car, you might want to head-off some future trouble by replacing the half-axle while you have the front end disassembled.
