How do you remove the power window switch control panel on a 2002 toyota camry? I know there is a screw under the rubber cover in the indentation where you put your hand to close the door but even with that screw removed the panel doesn't want to come off. i don't want to force it and break something.

SOURCE: How to remove the front door trim panel

There are two clips in in the handle lever. One clip is above and one below. Slide a flatheaded screwdriver between the handle and the casing to pop the casing loose. You have to do this on the top and bottom. Once the casing is loose you can take that off and the door should come undone.

SOURCE: Remove the radio from 1997 Toyota Corolla

i have a 97 corolla as well, and i've changed the radio out several times on my own. if you take a small screwdriver and stick it in between the panel that goes around the around the area where the radio is, u should be able to pry it off relatively easy. just be sure to remove the sliders off the AC controls before you do. after you pop that panel off, you just have to disconnect the wiring harnesses going to the clock, hazard lights, rear defroster, and AC button. the radio is bolted in there with a mounting bracket, so you'll have to unscrew that as well. you'll need to unscrew that bracket from the radio you have in there, and mount it to the one you wanna install....hopefully this helps you out. it sounds harder than it really is.

How to remove and replace drivers inside door handle camry coupe

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can replace the handle

INSTALL SIDE VIEW MIRROR ON A 1997 TOYOTA CAMRY

Yes, you have to remove the door panel.

Remove the 2 plastic protectors on the front edge, and remove the 2 brass colored screws. Next, remove the push pins from the latch side. Push in, and pull out the whole thing. Next, under the armrest, remove the screw. Lift up the power windoe control, being careful to not break the plastic retainer tab. Remove the screw under the window control. Starting at the bottom, pull out the panel, and, when all of the clips are loose, pull the panel straight up. It is best to do this with the door panel as warm as possible, like in a heated garage. Doing this outside in the cold will break all of the plastic retainer clips; they are quite brittle whn cold.

I hope this helps

Procedure for removing door panel on passenger side 1994 camry

Sure.

Pull off the triangle thing.
On the door, at the front edge, there should be 2 plastic caps. Remove them. Under the caps there are screws. Remove them.
On the rear of the door panel, above the latch, are 2 round things, with a smaller round thing in the middle. Press on the inner round thing, and pull the pin assemblys out.
Do you have a light on the door panel at the bottom? If so, pry it out with a small screwdriver (it's just a "press-fit"), and remove the wire connector.
Under the arm-rest, remove the big phillips screw that is hidden, about an inch back from the outer edge of the panel. You will see the hole.
Under the arm rest, remove the tiny plastic trim cover, remove another big phillips screw.
Remove the door handle: Remove the phillips screw. Slide the handle forward or backward to release it from the door metal. Undo the clamp from the lock rod to the handle.
Remove any screws at the very bottom of the panel, if there are any.
Starting at the bottom of the panel. pull straight out, to defeat the plastic clamps tht holds the panel to the door metal. Once the panel is loose, pull it up a bit to remove it from the window opening retainer. Finally, inside the panel, unplug the wiring harness to the window switch assembly.

If you need any more info, please comment back. And, Thanks for the FIxYa.

Remove the lower light & unplug it (if you have one) which may be under the arm rest (it pops out)

Problem with power windows

Does it work from the back window controls? Or regardless of location, windows don't roll down. If it's the first one, then I'd suspect the window controller in the front door is malfunctioning or the wiring headed to the back door. If it's the second option, you should remove your door panel and check the motor. Unplug the plug for the motor and either use a volt meter (or a 12volt test light if you don't have that...it's cheap) and operate the window switch. If you are getting 12 volts or the light lights, you know the motor is the problem. Let me know if you need to know how to pull the door panel off.
