When spark plugs spark, some of the molecules of metal where the spark occurs are lost, widening the gap, and changing the shape of the electrodes.

The same thing takes place inside the distributor cap. The rotor does not make contact with the electrodes of the cap, but comes near — a spark jumps from the rotor to the cap electrode.

As other parts wear, their position relative to the motion of the engine can shift. As the engine wears, its fuel/air requirements can shift a bit.

A tune up replaces some of the worn parts, and adjusts the effect of others (their timing), bringing the engine back into optimal performance and reliability.

Depends on how much you want to spend.

tools you need.....socket set with a 5/8 sparkplug socket, plug gapper tool, and the proper gap
parts you need, sparkplugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter. replace each plug one at a time, change plug wire at same time. there should be no other adjustments needed as its all controlled by computer.

You probably need to replace the crank position sensor. You might need to do a tune up of plugs and coil packs too. If you've been putting in cheap Chinese tune up parts you'll cause the sensor to go out...

Burning way to much gas

Tire pressure, Dirty Air filter element, needs tune up, misfire, fuel leak, bad sending unit, etc... you need to troubleshoot logically. Are there any trouble codes? When was the last tune up? How big are your tires? What does it normally get for gas mileage? Etc..

How to tune a b210 caburatorI manage get the idle tuning perfect next how to tune the rune up(when in running it put out blak smoke)

Something internal in the carburetor is wrong, maybe the accelerator pump seal or gasket is bad. Think you will have to put a rebuild kit in the carb. There's no outside adjustment for it being way too rich.

Does it require tune up

Regular Maintenance is vital to keeping your car on the road. The time and effort you put into keeping up with scheduled maintenance can save you big money in the long run.
Dealer 30k, 60k or 90k mile tune-ups can run from $250 for 3-4 hours of labor and basic maintenance, to over $1,000 at places with high labor costs and additional maintenance services, such as timing belt replacement.
If the mechanic identifies needed repairs, this can add a significant amount to your total.
At 90K repair shops normally replace the timing belt, or timing chain.
Your car require a tune up, if you have more than 30K on it. What kind of tune up your car needs depend on how many miles do you have on your car.

Timing is way off specs, or plug wires hooked up incorrectly. I would suspect the latter.
