Can you assistance in find a radio code for a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS I just purchase and had to replace the battery which cause the radio to drop the code.

Google it. You should be able to find the code for it on Google. Type this: 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Radio Codes and hit ENTER. Do not click on the buttons under the seach bar - this will provide better results.

Input the code by pressing preset 1 to scroll through the first digit, preset 2 for the second digit, preset 3 for the third digit, and preset 4 for the fourth digit.
When you have the correct code displayed, press the CD button to unlock the radio. If your radio does not have a CD button, some use the AM/FM or TAPE button to unlock as well.

the multi-center display (clock, radio display) is on the cigarette lighter circuit i believe it is fuse 12 in the fuse panel on the left side of dash by the door.
You can take your car to Auto Zone and they will scan the codes for FREE. They will also let you know the part causing the problem. 99% of the time it's a sensor that you may be able to replace yourself if your handy with cars. Without the codes, it's random guessing to fix the problem.
You can take the radio out get the number off the top and call your dealership with the number. The dealer will give you the 4 digit number or charge you $80 to give it to you.
