My battery keeps going down in my volvowhat do i look for?

You have an interior light on somewhere. Check glovebox, center console, trunk light and under hood light. Remove the bulbs to isolate them

maybe your Battery in your alarm or the Battery hood is not all the way down or maybe it,s stuck take it to Kelly,s they will look at it

sounds like loose battery terminals or a bad ground from battery to engine and frame

Charge the battery start the engine and confirm that the voltage at the battery is about 14 volts with engine running . If not it is likely the alternator is bad or the electrical connections from the alternator to the battery are defective.

A significant drain from the battery can be determined by observing the battery voltage after stopping the engine.

If it is under 12 and continues to drop trouble shoot for battery drain. If you suspect the radio pull the fuse and observe.

Diagnose the door lock issues first,that you know is a problem

Make sure your belt is on tight and the tensioner is good.

if you let vechicle set battery will run down.not in month time frame, if you going let it set either crank vechicle let idle keep battery charged or disconnect battery if vechicle going to set for long time period,i would keep battery charged up using battery charger.

I replaced the trunk pull down actuator cost 65$ @ junk yard

Put an ampere meter in series with one of the battery cables, and check the current draw. You will have up to 40 mili-amps all the time. If more,after 15 min with key off,something is not timing out. Then you start pulling fuses one at a time until you find the circuit.
