My ABS/brake light came on after warming up. I

My ABS/brake light- Service brake system alert on my 2004 Avalanche came on after warming up. I checked for any leaks. none. I turned the truck off and pumped the brakes. Seemed to be less pressure than normal. Cranked the truck and turned the steering wheel. Sounded like the power steering pump is not pumping correctly. Im thinking about draingand flushing both the brake sstem and power steering pump to see if that helps. What should I do?

Abs light on brake peddel goes down low

Usually if the hydraulic brakes are the issue you would have the ABS and the regular brake warning light on at the same time.
I would check the fluid level in the master cyl first. The master cylinder could be failing.

WHEN THE CONTROL MODULE TURNED THIS WARNING LAMP ON IT WAS TO ALERT YOU TO THE FACT A FAULT HAS OCCURRED IN THE abs BRAKE SYSTE, AND THE MODULE HAS DISABLED IT. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW IS TO HAVE THE DEALER PERFROM A SCAN OF THE SYSTEMS CONTROL MODULE AND PULL UP THE FAULT CODE THAT IS STORED IN MEMORY WHENTHE LIGHT TURNED ON.

the abs module is very complex. it takes charge of the braking, control, handling and many other factors concerning electronics. but what it uses is a sensor on each wheel. sometime through wear and tear these sensors go faulty. check brake sensors on calipers. take care

Ran over tree limb abs &brake light symbol came on. when Vehicle is started the dinger dings for about 15 seconds. no visual signs of damaga.

If the abs and brake lights stay on check the abs sensor on the wheel, or side that you hit the branch on odds are that the plug in to the sensor came unplugged, or tore out a wire.

Abs Is engaging irratically on 2002 avalanche

Did you bleed the system after doing the brakes? and since you din't say abs light I assume you mean the brakes are acting erratically. If you bleed the breaks first after that try it and if it still does it make sure you have the correct rotors and pads.
