How do I recharge my ac on my 99 Regal? - 1999 Buick Regal

On the firewall has a black screw off cap.

The low which is the one you charge your A/C
with is located on the rear firewall about dead center 5approx 5 inches below the windshield. Make sure when charging you put your a/c on coldest setting and blower on high.

You low pressure port is against the firewall just below the center of the cowl and is best accessed from the drivers side

If you have to ask that question, you don't have the equipment, (gauges, etc) to be able to safely recharge your AC circuit in your 1993 Buick Regal!

Sorry to be blunt, but you could cause more problems than you would fix if you try to do it yourself.
Do you know what freon is in the system now? You have to recharge with the same type and since you have an older car you probably have old type in it, which means you have to evacuate the system and capture the freon (and dispose of it) and then recharge with the right amount of new type freon.

It needs to be recharged, the compressors are the likely leak on these.

you may have to get the system vacuum pumped and recharged

i have the same exact problem! The temp sensor replacement did nothing for it either

How warm does it get? The computer won't turn them on unless the coolant temp gets to 235

recharge your system, it;s low on refrigerat, there is not enough liquid going into the evap to help maintain cooling, hence the speed of the compressor. install gauges to check pressures at idle, if not to spec , recharge. if it's low you have a leak to repair. also make sure your AC condenser is clear.
