Remove the dash pad from the car and repair it with super strenth upholster glue. Spray glue wher it is come up , let glue dry for a few minutes until it becomes stickie, press loose areas down and lay something heavy on them for about an hour, check to see if it is holding if it is then reinstall in car.

Have you tried bleeding the brakes? Sometimes air in the lines causes the break trouble light to come on.

Silverado dashboard problem

I've bought dash repair kits and tried it myself several times without satisfactory results. I recently restored a trans am and had the dash repaired by a local interior shop and now I can't even tell where the cut was. It was about a 4 inch cut and they charged $50.

My car's dash board light next to the air bag came on I have never seen this symbol befor but it looks like this (o). Can you please help me with this and what do I need to do to fix this problem?

That's your brake pad wear indicator ---means you need to have your brakes checked / replaced either in the front or rear.
It's a wear sensor wire ooked to the brake pad and when the pad wear down to the wire it lights up the dash warning light.

Brake pad llight on audi 2001 a6

In the past I had the same problem with new pads!
You must check up if new brake pads electrical wires are OK. Try as follows:
1. Disconnect only new brake pads wires from the vehicle electrical circuit.
2. Extract old brake pads wires from old brake pads.
3. Insulation wear cap from old brake pads wires.
4. Connect old brake pads wires on the vehicle electrical circuit.
5. Switch ignition ON and start engine.
Now the wear light must go off !
