You should be able to trace the power cable from your battery straight to your starter. You may need to replace the whole starter or you might be able to replace just the solenoid.

Good luck!

Why my 2002 Altima won't start?

There could be several reasons why your 2002 Altima won't start even though the engine is turning over. Here are some common causes to consider:
  1. Fuel system issues: If the fuel pump, fuel filter, or fuel injectors are not functioning properly, then the engine may not be getting enough fuel to start. You can check the fuel pressure and fuel pump relay to see if they are the issue.
  2. Ignition system problems: If the spark plugs, ignition coil, or ignition module are not working correctly, then the engine may not be getting the spark it needs to start. You can check the spark plugs and ignition coil to see if they need to be replaced.
  3. Battery issues: If the battery is dead or not providing enough power to start the engine, then the engine may not start. Check the battery voltage and connections to make sure they are in good condition.
  4. Starter problems: If the starter motor is not working correctly, then the engine may not start. You can check the starter relay and wiring to see if they are the problem.
  5. Mechanical issues: If there are any problems with the engine's timing, compression, or other mechanical issues, then the engine may not start. This would require a more in-depth diagnosis by a mechanic.
It's best to have a professional mechanic inspect your car to determine the root cause of the problem and make any necessary repairs.

My 05 altima has several error codes..335 (02,04,and 05) and 725 (01 and 03). The car acts like the starter may be going bad. Would these codes support that problem?

No those codes would not support a bad starter diagnosis.

And those are not correct codes for a 2005....codes should be a 4 digit code

My car won't start I don't hear it crank

Get a test light, and see if your starter has battery power, (big wire/stud) on starter. itll light up if you do. then there should be a little wire. thats your igntion switch wire. have someone start your car while you testing the little wire. if the light comes on. then your starter is probably bad, even if its new they still can be bad. If it doesnt light up then, you need to locate the starter relay in engine compartment,I should have one. test to see if it clicking when you try to start it. youll feel it. If not pull it out and test to see if you have power. do the same test with someone starting it and see if you light comes on. If it comes on then replace the relay. and you could try and see if your ignition fuse is ok. I hope this gets you started. if not right back were your stuck at.
