What does the INFL REST light mean? it flashes then stays on for a while

The INFL REST light means the "Inflatable Restraint" .Any time the light illuminates, a code is stored within the Central Control Module (CCM). That's your Airbag light. It stands for Inflationary Restraint. It should blink 5 times then go off. If it stays on there is a problem.Get the car scanned for codes before replacing any part.At www.autozone.com its absolutely free to get car scanned to get codes. Keep updated for more queries.Thanks.

Infl rest light flashing no fuel

Your Infl. Rest. Light is supposed to flash 7-9 times when you turn the ignition on or when you start the engine, It should then go off. If it is constantly flashing or comes on and stays on, You have a problem with your airbags and they will not function in a crash. It is unrelated to your fuel issue.
