If you have not cleaned out the ac system,the ac system will have oil in it,but,the compressor most likely does not have any in it,so pour about 4 to 5 oz in the low side opening on the compressor before installing it,and turn the center nut of the compressor clutch about 8 to 10 times,oil will try and come out the high side,when it does,this will be enough turning.If the system needs more oil,add as needed when freon is put in the system.If the oil is not added to the ac compressor before installing,the compressor could be damaged.Please rate if this was helpful,thank you.

To reset "CHANGE OIL" light, turn the ignition switch to the run position without starting the engine. Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. and wait for the light to flash. Check your manual it maybe slightly different. Real easy fix.

How do u instal a fake pulley on air condition unit on 1997 pontiac grand prix

You need to remove the compressor and then align the pulley bracket holes with mount points on the engine. Check alignment by sighting from the side. The pulley should not be further out or in than the other pulleys on the engine. Use flat washers between the mount and the engine to correct any mis-alignment.
