Hi,

The first thing you need to get checked here is the wheel alignment also known as 'tracking'. Any tyre retailer can do this for you.

If the wheels are misaligned this will cause the vehicle to drift either to the left or right.

Other causes to consider are badly worn tyres, worn suspension or shock absorbers or a even misaligned chassis sustained from previous accident damage.

However, I would first advise a general check of the suspension components and if you are sure there is no previous chassis damage the most likely and most common cause of this is incorrect wheel alignment.

Your local tyre depot will have a machine to check both two wheel and four wheel alignment. Have them check the vehicle over.

Thanks for using FixYa.

The most common cause is low air pressure in the right front tire. The next most common is a bad tie rod end on either the right or the left. A very bad ball joint can also cause this problem. If you can't find anything obvious the van needs the front end aligned. Many tire shops can do it and all tire shops will know someone that can do it. Part of the front end alignment is to check the condition of any and all parts that could make the vehicle pull. Check the tire first though. Good Luck!

My van shimies left and right badly....and it pulls to the left....it does it more when going straight and not so much when going around curves

check the vans rear shock absorbers if they are faulty the car can exhibit this type of behaviour and braking will be less efficient. Also tyre wear will be affected to.
I am not a shock absorber expert but had recently my four shock absorbers replaced as the fluid had ruptured in the front shockers and the rear mounts for the rear shockers were corroded and unsafe. (shock absorber expert at repair place mentioned the symptoms you are describing as a rear shock problem or the rear leaf springs are faulty)

Does changing only one cv joint on an 2000 mpv cause a problem?

You can change one, it would have nothing to do with ride height

Turn right, pulls right, turn left, pulls right

Check your power steering fluid. If that's ok, you may be looking at having to have the power steering replaced.

I keep having problems with left front caliper and rotor, have replaced twice in one year

mcdevito75 here, Believe it or not, your problem may be in the right side fron caliper assembly, right fron brake not operateing correctly and causeing the left brake to do extra work and thus wearing down faster. If your van pulls to the left when you apply the brakes, then the roght brake is not working so well. Beat Bet have your local repair shop examine both front brakes for proper operation.

When I go to stop the van pulls to the right then when I let off the brake pedal it pulls left.I rebuilt the driver side caliper but the piston is still hard to push back into the caliper. I checked the...

Replace both calipers, much easier..... your description indicates to me that your left caliper is hanging ON, overheating and when brakes are applied, the right caliper (not overheated) is more efficient than the left one......

ALL brake work must happen to BOTH SIDES, on that axle set, every time (meaning both front or both rear). Anything else just makes problems

Front end wobble

An easily overlooked problem that can have these symptoms is low tire pressure. Examine your tire for excessive wear or a flat spot. Check your tire pressures. If all this seems fine, rotate your tires to see if that helps the problem. If so, replace the suspect tire.

94 Caravan pulls HARD to left when stepping on gas

IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT THE BALL JOINTS ARE VERY WORN WITH THE MILES YOU HAVE ON THE VAN.. THE REASON IT DRIVES STRIGHT WHEN YOU TURN RIGHT A FEW TIMES IS THAT IT LINES THE BALL JOINTS BACK UP, SOUNDS LIKE THE BALL JOINTS HAVE A LOT OF PLAY IN THEM, VERY,VERY DANGOUS.. KEITH..
