Surely the vented type is the regular battery?
To the best of my knowledge both the wet type battery and the gel type battery are both vented and interchangeable, though the gel battery is often considered a sealed type they do generally contain an array of valves to allow the escape of gas..
Both offer advantages over each other with the wet type battery being the traditional fitment for motor vehicles. Gel type batteries have a history of variable reliability with the main advantage being the danger of spilled acid is removed they can be fitted in positions a wet battery would be unsuitable for.
If in doubt refer to the battery manufacturer's application catalogue.
Look at the battery the label should have a capacity rating in Ah eg. 65Ah. This should be the same or larger for the new battery. Physically the battery should be the same size to fit in the tray in the car and have the same type of terminals : flat lug or round post type. A decent car battery seller should be able to look up the car model and give you the correct battery.

This car is morespecies on the battery type! Depends on type and size of the engine and your comfortable trim inside the car! Difference in
the battery is already different to the A / C condition or not! I'm sorry that I am more reply for you with this query.
Hello
Definitely the battery has a big role in Jaguar cars, as Jaguar cars are very sensitive when it comes to battery.
You never go less than specified , going a little higher is ok but not lower
I had to change the battery in my 1999 S-Type, you will need the radio code, I also needed to reprogramme the board computer which is easy if you have your manual at hand, also the car might act strangely for a while, but this is explained in your users manual, nothing to worry about.
