Andrae, If it is just the right rear signal not working, re check the bulb and wires to the socket, signal bulb should have 2 filaments. When you put emergency flasher on do both tail lights flash, . Open the rear door, locate the two screws next to the tail light. They will be philips head. Take them out, pop off tail light, unhook light harness. Reinstall is opposite of removal.
Over time corrosion can accumulated and rust out a tail light socket and render it non-functioning. Yes it can be replaced and in your case for about $6.00. You can find these at most any auto parts store.

Hello, Well there is not much more it could be unless you have a shorted wire or a burned fuse. I would normally think that the turn signal canceler was bad but the 3rd brake light will still work if that is bad so I would check all fuses and for bare or shorted wires.
Take the trim off that covers the tail light assembly and then remove the bolts that hold it in.Once the tail light assembly is in your hand then unplug the lamp,turn the bulb to the right until it unlocks then pull it out,reverse all to assemble.Merry Christmas and good luck!
Drop tailgate and look for screws holding light assembly. If all screws are removed you may have sealant holding the assembly. Gently pry it out of is seat. Behind the assembly are the sockets that require a 1/4 turn to remove. Then change bulbs as required. Let me know if this helps. Moe
