Ck fuses. if they are OK, you may have a Body module thats bad. its under the fuse box, under the hood, if its the same as my 2006 .....big bucks, but there is an update to handle more amperage. see your dealer.

take a test light and check for power at the pins, also try cleaning the pins on the conector. if you plug it in and the running lights still work on your truck its probably a broken wire.

2003 Dodge Ram 3500 left turn signal problems / trailer

Well let me shed some light on this issue. I have the same problem. Trailer connection from truck does not have power to left turn signal and left brake light. I just got back from the dealership and $100.00 labor charge. My problem is the TIPM (Fuse Box for short) and FCM (little silver module hooked to the Fuse Box on the left hand side of the fuse box). $910.00 for the parts and Chrysler doesn't have any in stock. 4-6 weeks to maybe fill a back order. I am currently researching an alternative way to fix this issue. I will let you know.

I do not have power on the aux. terminal in the trailer plug on a 2008 dodge ram. Any ideas?

You have got 7 pin trailer connector that was included in the optional trailer tow package. This trailer tow package also includes an electric trailer brake wiring provision that terminates at a connector located on top of the large body harness connection under the instrument panel to the left of the break pedal, as well as an electric trailer brake pigtail harness and an instruction card that are stored in the glove box when the vehicle is shipped from the factory. You will need to add an electric brake controller of your choice that will plug-in to the harness and that will also give you power on your auxiliary circuit.

Trailer hitch...no running lights (2004)

You'll have to follow the BROWN wire from the factory connector(with the running lights on of course) to the trailer connector and make sure you are getting power all the way to the two lamp fixtures. If so you've probably got two burned out 1157 bulbs or an inline fuse in the factory harness/ trailer harness.Good Luck, Dana

Installing electronic trailer brake for 2005 dodge ram 150. How to? I have a Reese Brakeman Compact to install. It has four wires (blue, black, red and white) coming out of it, but how do i figure our...

Get the Dodge harness adaptor. Typically about $15 at most auto supply places that carries towing stuff, possibly at an RV center too.
The adaptor will connect to a white plug under your dash, if you have the towing package installed from the factory.
Mine (a '97) was taped to the mega connector just to the right of the e-brake pedal... The package came with instructions on where to find it but no pictures so I had to dig a bit up under there!
If you do not have the towing package, you will be best served doing as the instructions that came with the controller say OR downloading instructions from the Reese website.

Dodge trailer wiring

Check the owners manual to be sure of the location of the trailer fuses. Most have several locations for the fuses. Other than that, look for a loose or corroded connection. Also check http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx.

LEFT TRAILER TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT WORK

I have seen once before that the fuse box was bad on a 2003 Dodge 3500. I had power in and nothing out. We had to replace the box. Not cheap! Hope it is simple like a loose connection though. I think I had to pull the inner fender on the drivers side to access the bottom of the fuse box. Pain in the ****, but...
