My 2002 VW Golf TDI two-door needs to have its seat belt buckle-lock assembly replaced again. The passenger seat tilts forward and back often to access the back seat which wears the wires in the buckle (this, I understand from the dealer). Once the circuit is broken the airbag system is disabled. It is $160 for the part plus seat removal time to install. Is there a way to fix the wires without a new seat buckle mechanism?
Thank you.

On my golf,
long dead of truckbackupitis, the hood release was a plate in the left footwell wall about 4inch forward of the drivers door, it does not look like a handle, just like a cover plate
SOURCE: bluetooth pairing vw golf 08
Alot of European cars are made with the older basic 1.0 version of Bluetooth, where as phone's these days are being made with the later version 2,0 i think. To get around this if taken back to manufacturer some will have a patch to run over the bluetooth in order to upgrade or just simply buy a new bluetooth carkit and install.

use a pin extract tool to remove the broken wire pins from the plug shell and crimp new pins onto the loom and refit into the plug shell
