I have a 1994 Mercury Topaz GS 2 door, and in the past winter I slid into my wooden mailbox and dented the front drivers side fender and therefore need to remove it in order to pop the dent out... i am just not quite sure on how to remove the fender from the car? Unless you have another way of getting the small dent out of the fender without removal... thanx in advance
Harbor Freight and most local body shop supply stores should have a suction-cup type tool for pulling out dents. You maybe able to remove the inner fender well to get to the dent. To remove the fender, you'll need to remove the top fender bolts, the bolts that attach it to the header panel, and the bolts holding it on back by the door.
