The clocks in these older CRV's are notorious for giving an intermittent or dead display. The clock can be easily removed and inexpensively repaired at www.subaru-clock.com. If you need tips on removal of the clock, he can help with that, too.

SOURCE: Changing 2001 Honda Odyssey clock back light

Yes, the clock back light can be changed but unfortunately you have to remove the entire instrument cluster to do it. This can be done yourself. First order the clock light bulb from Honda (not expensive). Then get a Haynes Repair manual from an auto parts store (<$20) and a trim panel removal tool. Follow the procedures for removing the instrument cluster trim panels in chapters 11 and 12. Take your time and be patient with the panels to avoid breaking off attachment hooks and clips. The most difficult part of the job is getting the steering column trim covers off.

SOURCE: 2002 honda crv air filter change

Hi!

Can you specify if you are referring to the engine intake air filter or the cabin air filter?
If you are referencing the cabin air filter, the attached youtube video should help.

I originally created the video for the Odyssey, but found out after looking at my dad's CRV that it is essentially the same procedure as the Odyssey, and have also noticed that the same stands true for most Honda vehicles built between 2005 and 2009.

Happy motoring!

How do your replace the clock bulb on the CRV 2001

There is no bulb for the 96-01 CRV clock, it is LCD based. If the fuses are OK (radio working etc) then the clock module is defective. I offer an affordable repair solution, check out www.autoclockrepair.com. I have removal instructions there as well.

Where is fuse for clock in my Honda crv 1999? I can't find my manual.

The clock has 2 fuses that are shared with other accessories. Do your radio (relay box) and gauges work (fuse box #25)? If they work then the clock has gone bad internally. I offer a repair service and have the removal instructions at www.autoclockrepair.com
Check it out and let me know if you need further assistance, thanks!

2001 honda crv clock keeps going out

If you mean the fuse keeps blowing, then you should check the clock wire harness for chafed wires. Also check for a loose clock connector, or loos wires in the back of the clock connector.

Time clock has stoped working

Hello,

Below are the removal instructions from my website www.autoclockrepair.com. I also offer a very reasonable repair service.

1997 - 2001 Honda CRV Clock removal Instructions
The vent bezel assembly needs to come out prior to clock removal.
Follow these 4 steps
1. Using a wide, thin blade such as a putty or butter knife, pry the
assembly up a little at the bottom until it pops out and slightly.
2. Pull the bottom out as it clears, and the top of the vent bezel
assembly will follow.
3. Once you have the vent bezel out, remove the electrical plug from
the clock.
4. Unscrew the two phillips screws that hold the clock in place.

My electronic clock honda crv 2001 dont work

I've seen the clock assemblies go bad on these models. Sometimes one or more of the digital segments will go out not displaying the time correctly or the whole display goes blank. There are two fuses in the clock circuit. Quick check: If your gauges on your dash work and your radio is working, your fuses are good. It also shares a ground with allot of other components. if you don't have any other electrical issues, your ground is also good. The clock will have to be replaced, unfortunately they are quite expensive and they're only available through Honda. -hope this helps.
