When you say the ac is not working, do you mean the blower or the compressor is not engaging. If the compressor is not engaging, the system is low on refrigerant and needs to be checked for leaks and recharged. If the blower is not working, it will most likely be the resistors in the multiple speed switch.

I have a 1999 crown Vick and my dashboard lighting isn't working... I have turning signals and warning signals but no lighting to tell me how fast I'm going or where my fuel is... .. What do I do

It's most likely a fuse. Check your fuse panel or your owners manual to see where the fuse is located. The fuse will be called illumination cluster, or ignition cluster. That should solve the issue

I have a 1998 Crown Victoria. The AC seems to work fine but the fanb has stopped blowing. Is this just a fuse and where are the fuses?

The problem is most likely a ballast resistor (usually located outside the heater core in front of passenger side of firewall). This is common when 1 or more fan speeds fail to work.

My crown vick will not start

for the engine to start you need fuel, spark, and compression. one of these things is missing. you have to find out which. to check fuel, locate the fuel rail. it's aluminum colored and runs on either side of the engine above the spark plugs. there is a test valve much like the valve on the tire rim for air. locate this and remove the cap. first prime the system by turning the key on and off a couple of times. this should pressurize the system. press the valve in for just a second, if fuel spurts out under pressure chances are it's not the fuel system. be carefull and catch the fuel in a rag. wear safety glasses. you also could have a bad injector fuse/relay. the fuel cutoff switch might have tripped. this is a safety feature in case of a collision. sometimes they trip hitting a pot hole but rarely.

to check spark you can get an inexpensive spark checker at an auto parts store. it connects between the spark plug and the wire. there are contacts enclosed in clear plasitic which allows you to view the spark.

compression check involves removing each plug and checking pressure with a gauge. better left to the tech. but if your engine seems to crank faster and easier the when it was starting, compression might be the problem.

if you don't have a fuse legend, found in the owners manual, check each fuse with a test light. 10- 20 bucks.

is your check engine light on?
