On most passenger cars, you may find the VIN number on the front of the dashboard on the driver's side. The best way to see it is to look through the windshield from outside the car. You may also find the VIN number on the driver's side door pillar.

you can also have a look on https://cardotcheck.co.uk/vin-check

The vin number should be located on the driverside at the bottom of the windshield. Looking from the outside of the car on the driverside you should see it through the windshield. Hope this will help you.

Where can I fine the engine number of the KIA Sportage 1997?

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stamped on metal plate located on left side of dash panel. The VIN is also stamped into passenger side of engine compartment bulkhead or driver's side of dash panel, visible from outside of windshield.

Engine number is stamped on engine block just below the cylinder head at front near timing belt, just below the manifold, sorry I forgot which side.

1999 kia sportage chassis acceleration sensor failed. I need the location and what it looks like.

The chassis acceleration sensor is located on the left side below the motor. Not on the motor but on a little metal plate connected to the body. I paid $55 at KIA for the part. The part # is 0K2NC-18911. They say it's a universal part. It took me two days to convince them the part even exist. But I have it now. I hope this helps.

Where do i locate the chassis number on 1997 volkswagen jetta gt 2.0 cause i need to buy timing belt and componet kits engine code B

Hi friend
The easiest place to find the VIN on your vehicle is right on the lower left corner of your dashboard. You should be able to read the number by looking through your windshield on the driver's side of your car. Check the driver's side door. The VIN might also belocated in the driver's side doorjamb or on the doorpost.

I don't have the radio code for the original car stereo. I called KIA and they told me its , 1 1 1 1 , well they were wrong , wrong , wrong ,wrong. LOL any one have a code 1997 Kia Sportage

The same thing happened to me with the same car and model, the dealer gave me 1111 for the code which didn't work. I ended up calling the Kia Costumer service (1-800-333-4542). They gave me the right code after I gave them the VIN number.
To get rid of the "Hold" code, leave the radio on for more than an hour and the "Code" sign will come back up.
