I have a 1995 jeep wrangler. 4 cl.2.5. Anyway its leaking underneath looks like lower hose has a hole afriend thinks it's my water pump i just see water coming down looks like from the clamp

Your friend is probably correct. The pump has a "weep hole" that leaks when the seals have failed. If tightening the clamp does nothing, replace the pump.

i would try a new fuel filter if its due for one anyway. my car was setting that code but ran fine. i changed fuel filter and that took care of it. of course there is other stuff like fuel pressure or vacuum leaks or plugged injectors that can cause that code. but a fuel filter if one is due anyway is a good place to start.

The front axle connects 4wd by vacuum. check the vacuum hoses that run to the actuator. Pay close attention to the vacuum hoses running underneath the battery as battery acid can eat thru those hose easily. Good Luck.

i just bought a used 97 CHEROKEE but i had the same problem, when i got to looking at it i found out the front driveshaft was shot, look at that, if its not it i would say its probably the transfer case especially with an older vehicle like that which is a very expenxive repair

a right angle pipe coming out from the top of the valve cover with a rubber hose attached. if you it out, shank it! it should sound like a mabble inside of it.
