How to Reset the Engine Oil Life System
The Engine Oil Life System calculates when to change the engine oil and filter based on vehicle use. Any time the oil is changed, reset the system so it can calculate when the next oil change is required. If a situation occurs where you change the oil prior to a CHANGE ENGINE OIL message being turned on, reset the system.
To reset the Engine Oil Life System, do the following:
If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes back on when you start your vehicle, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure. If it still does not reset, see your dealer for service.

IF it is in the radio and not a seperate computer then you do the following: Go into the vehicle settings with the radio controls. With the key turned to ACC, hold DISP on the radio for about 6 seconds and it should go into settings mode. Press DISP until you see oil life in all caps, then use Prev. & Next to scroll to reset oil life mon., then push DISP again. you should here a beep and the display should read Done. Scroll to Exit and press DISP again.
