I have 2007 Chevy Silverado. Yesterday when I was in work someone told me my Horn was blowing in my truck (It was off and I do not have an alarm system) Tried pressing at the steering whell to see if switch inside column was stuck but no luck. Minutes later as I started driving it, it quit blowing and now won't work at all

My guess would be your clock spring has a frayed wire. A common GM issue
Also check your fuses, wiring to horns, and relays.

SOURCE: Steering Column Slip

sounds like the vehicle needs to be serviced by a dealer. is it under 36000 miles? factory warranty runs 3 years or 36K whichever comes first. check with your local dealer or the NHTSA for related recalls or TSBs

SOURCE: Wobbly steering column on 1989 Chevy Silverado 2WD

It is rather complex but it can be done at home. It will also require special tools. The haynes manuals do cover this repair I believe.

Chevy silverado where is the horn relay

It depends if it is a classic or new style Silverado. Both were made in 2007. If it is a classic Silveradothere is a replaceable relay in the under hood fuse block. If it is a new style Silverado the horn relay is part of the printed circuit board that is only available with UBEC (under hood bussed electrical center).

2000 chevy silverado horn not working

There is three horns on a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. One on the right side ( Driver's Side ) And two on the Passenger side behind the Fog light assembly that can be accessed by taking out the headlight, real easy to do. The drivers horn is down behind the fog lamp as well but is way harder to get to and I believe that one might be for the alarm factory installed. Good Luck. Robb

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander and the horn blows for no reason. It is as if the alarm is going off.

I just had the same problem the horn would blow for 30 seconds every 3 minutes. The dealership just told me I need a new horn pad and that it was not covered under the "bumper to bumper" warranty. He also said it would be $460 and be at least 4 days.

Where is the horn located under the hood of my 2008 chevy truck?

Have a friend, (or in-law) someone you're not too fond of, stand in front of the truck while you honk the horn and have them pinpoint it for you.
