Hello Izzy...posting in the Fixya automotive with a question about the sun is kinda unusual...lol..but here goes...
A quick google search turned up these facts about out sun.
It is a lot bigger than your average passenger vehicle...
The mean radius of the sun is 432,450 miles (696,000 kilometers), which makes its diameter about 864,938 miles (1.392 million km). You could line up 109 Earths across the face of the sun. The sun's circumference is about 2,713,406 miles (4,366,813 km).
Bad handling or not , it is still under warranty and has to be replaced as per the warranty statement. Sun visors are handled by many people many times a day and for yours to fall off indicates poor quality manufacture and not fit for the purpose. What sort of service person would risk business over a sun visor. Contact the company on line direct and lodge a complaint with the customer relations department.
plastic lining on runners tend to crack and lift causing roof to stick. can remove plastic but roof will rattle when closed. to close manually, open small cover on roof lining in front of sunroof and crank roof closed with an3mm allen key.
Not familiar with the Volvo, but many cars (Toyota, Lexus, Acura, Honda, etc.) have drain holes at the corners of the sun roof assembly. These holes allow water that gets past the sunroof gasket to drain through tubes that carry the water to the bottom of the car, where it exits the car.
These drain holes are prone to clogging. If the Volvo setup is like those cars mentioned, you can see the front drain holes by opening the sunroof and looking closely at the two front corners of the assembly that holds the sunroof. I have used plastic weedeater line to open up these lines. Compressed air can also be used.
Great solution:
Use a 8 foot length of weed eater plastic "blade". You can get a small amount from a hardware supply store.
While twisting the strand, insert it into your drains that are located in the corners of your open sunroof hole.
Feed the plastic thru the tubing... don't force it, use gentle pressure.
Test with a bit of water and look under the car for drainage.
it means that you are not using the right key of your car and if its the right key so you have to take the battery cable off and then turn the egnition on and off then put the battery cable again as a restart of the control unit .
that is information is in the owners manual
