1995 Ford Taurus sho 3.2L will not start. Drove it yesterday before I went to bed then tried to check codes while half-asleep due to a cel now this morning it will not start. Has spark fuel pump prime pressure ok at test port on rail. Have not checked injector pulse since they are under a spiderweb of intake manifold. The car will sputter on ether. Could I have fried the injector side of the ecc when I accidentally hooked the jumper wire from the signal return pin to the self-test out pin last night? Please advise so I can get a ecc ordered if I need to or dive into the intake manifold mess.

Sounds like the catalytic converter has gone bad. What happens is you car as you drive will lose power, smell like rotten eggs and stall out. The reason is, the cat. is plugged up and cannot let the exhaust out of the tail pipe like it should. The exhaust is staying in the engine causing it to stall out and loose pwer.

i belive you have to remove the upper intake, try loosinging the front motormount first (Take the bolt out) so the engine rocks. leave it in park or gear and push the car forward or back so the engine rocks and u may get in w. a wobble socket.

injector,plug,wire,coil, vacuum leak. Isolate 1 by 1 by moving them around to other cylinders to see if the problem moves with it.
