The anti theft wire under the steering column gets to cold and locks out ignition. i just found the auto theft wire and disconnected it. or you can take a blow dryer or heat gun run under the steering column for 3-5 minutes. if you do disconnect the auto theft wire you must do it while the car is running. use the blow dryer method, start the car then disconnect the auto theft wire.

Coolant level is fine but after about 2 minutes of starting my car COOLANT keeps coming on the dash board console. What is the problem and how do i solve it? Thank you. Saturn Ion 1, 2.2L. ...

Sounds like you have a leaking hose connection or a bad heater core. Take it to a shop which does air conditioning and radiator work and have them tell you exactly what is bad and give you a price. Even if you have an old Saturn dealer around now doing service work, stay away. Not an easy job to get at the core and replace it.

2004 Saturn Ion wont start from time to time when it is cold outside.. Like this morning my daughter went outside and the car started right up with the temp outside 7 degrees. She warmed it up for awhile...

LOL repeating questions. Its your ignition switch. its a common problem with ions ( I myself have a 04 ion and had it replaced twice in 3 years) repair is around 400 dollars with labor. Just google "ion not starting in cold weather" and youll get TONS of threads. No recall either its stupid
