Check the coolant pressure on the LOW pressure service port (where you put freon in). it sounds like your a/c was overcharged, and if so, you probably need another new compressor AND a new condensor. they sell gauges for checking this at autozone for 10-20 bucks each.......

My air condition only blows out cold air not hot

Turn your air conditioner OFF and turn your heater ON. Air conditioners were designed to blow out one temperature of air... COLD.

2004 sebring air conditioner stops and starts

Low freon will cause the compressor to short cycle, when the compressor runs the pressure in the low line is pulled down and the low pressure switch turns it off. Not running the pressure builds up and turns it back on. In the old days there was no low pressure switch, with no freon to carry the oil the compressor was destroyed.

Air Conditioner

Someone will need to find out if the compressor clutch is failing, or if it is loosing power due to a pressure switch or other problem.
A faulty relay or switch could get hot and switch off power to the compressor.

The air conditioner starts blowing hot air on the driver side while the passenger side blows cold air.

2004 Suburban air conditioner blows hot air to the dirver side but cold air to the passenger. This does not happen all the time but has occurred several times this last summer.
