With your key in the ignition, do not turn it, open the fuse panel by the drivers side door, pull out the fuse at the very bottom (mine was in a weird yellow casing) then plug it back in. Disk drive of the radio should make a noise. Now start your Tuscon and turn on your radio.

I tried that but I don't think that helped even though the radio came on. it went back out and few days later, played with it and it came on,out again.

SOURCE: 2009 Hyundai Tucson, check engine light came on

Did you forget to tighten the gas cap correctly? This has caused many many lights to come on. If not, then drive it till you can get it to the dealer.

SOURCE: how do i change right headlight bulb on a 2007

You change it like you'd change any headlamp bulb. There is an access cap behind the headlamp assembly -- remove it, then remove the connector to the bulb, then remove the retaining clip/spring holding the bulb in place. Then install/insert the new bulb in the same 'ORIENTATION' as the old one. Reinstall in reverse order... ALAKAZAM!... .done!

Its located on the driver's side dashboard. You have to open the driver's door and on the side of the dashboard is a access door.

Battery keeps going dead

There is a charging design defect on Hyundai vehicles. Replace the alternator immediately as this defect may occur below 30,000 km of travel. Avoid using the USB charger while aircon, head lights, and radio are ON because the alternator ampere rating will get overloaded, and power will be drawn from the battery.

Tucson 2008 radio doesn't work

Check the fuse , if it is blown, the radio won't work. The fuse box diagram is in your owners manual. It will also tell you what size fuse the radio requires.

Hello Colin. You describe a radio which doesn't sound like any Hyundai Radio I've ever worked on. It seems to me the audio unit is 'after-market' and isn't supported by Hyundai Motor America or Hyundai Service Departments. Does it have a "Hyundai Emblem" on it? If it does, you can check with any Hyundai Service/Parts Department & have them check the serial no.

Radio won't power up after battery failure

you will need the code . if you have you have your manual the factory code will be in it on a separate paper probably! could also be in your radio instructions! if you dont have these books you need to go to a hyundai dealer . does it come on and then go off ? if no lights at all in the screen it could be a fuse ! that is also in the book .if no book there are a number of sites on the web that will give you the layout of where they are, and which one is your radio fuse. hope this helps, and i am sorry i cant be more specific good luck, regards terry

Hi my battery ran flat and when recharged the radio is asking for code. We bought our hyundai Tucson second hand. It is 2006 model. Where can I obtain this code?

if you can find the name of the garage that supplied the car they will have a copy of the radio code and should give you free of charge as long as you can prove ownership of the tucson.adrian,,,,,,,
