Where's the fuel filter on 2000 Buick Le Sabre and how to replace

Clean the Throttle Body and MAF. It isn't closing fully at idle because it has carbon / oil residue making it stick.

Should be under the car, in front of the gas tank if it is fuel injected.
Takes two wrenches, one to hold the filter and one to hold the line.

the pump is located in the fuel tank and requires the tank to be drained, car hoisted off the ground (rear) and supported by jack stands and wheels chocked, fuel lines removed and the fuel filler pipe removed, along with removing the gas tank support straps.

Access via trunk, remove carpet and find inspection cover, remove to access fuel level sending unit which is attached to the fuel pump.

Have you replaced the fuel filter?(every 30000 miles)

The M.A.S. is in the top of the metal tube between the air filter box and the intake manifold. It will have a wire connected to it and it is held in by 2 screws. This is an easy replacement and should take no more than 5 to 10 minutes, assuming you are taking your time.

my 88 buick stop when ideling, also it jerks when going 55 and up. i have change the spark plugs.

its the electrical connection at he fuel pump,if this is ok ask if they replaced the strainer on your fuel pump,your fuel pump is inside your gas tank ,you have to drop the tank to service,most fuel pumps are not warrantied if you dont change the strainer,when your car shuts off the sediment on the strainer falls back into the tank,but when you run your car and it sucks up the gas thru the strainer to the pump it clogs the strainer and the fuel pump cant pump,you shoiuld find out if they changed this because your forcing your fuel pump to work harder,was it a new fuel tank or used one that they put in
