Have the coolant lines checked that go to your rear air conditioning. Located near the exhast pipes. We had a similar issue and found that there is a small area that is not protected by weather, road, etc. and corrodes. This is a known issue by KIA but they will not cover it under any of their warranties. We had a KIA dealer tell us our engine was blown because he noticed antifreeze coming from the exhast pipe while up on the rack. Tried to tell us we would need to replace entire engine until they realized it was antifreeze dripping from coolant lines and dropping onto exhast pipe. I believe that since we had this repaired, there was tech report for KIA repair shops regarding this problem. Cost of repair - $700.00. This is only one of several issues I have had with this van - will never buy or recommend anyone to buy KIA. KIA does not stand behind their so called "warranty".
