Yes, if the back seat has been pulled out for some reason, it sounds like the multi-pin connector (like a Molex connector) was not re-attached. You'll probably find it under the seat if you pull it out....
hi with 44000 on clock i doubt it needs a re build drain and flush the oil and then change the oil filter this should make an improvment it sounds as if your system needs a good clean up
