Have someone or someone's stand on the back of the bumper then turn it back on and see if it will raise it up.

My crown victoria engine is cranking but it not start

Many times this is a switch in the trunk. This switch is mounted in the left side of the trunk and is next to an air suspension switch if you have air ride.

The switch is called an inertia switch and has a reset button on it. Just press and hold the switch and it will reset and connect the power to the fuel pump.

Called AAA service for flat tire, they raised my car without turning off switch in trunk. Now my car wont raise up at all. the compressor wont turn on cause I dont hear anything, so whats wrong? Thanks

Unhook the battery positive side for 10 minutes and then hook up the positive terminal and start the vehicle, the pump will start to work again.

1992 CROWN VICTORIA LX I REPLACED FUSES INSIDE AND UNDER HOOD FOR AIR RIDE SUSPENSION AND IT STILL WON'T AIR UP. PLEASE HELP

Air ride suspension basically works like this. you have a small air compressor and a sensor that connects between the rear axle and the under body Frame. When this sensor detects a load movement like more or less weight it turns on the air compressor to air up or opens a exhaust valve to let air out. most common problems with this system. broken or disconnected sensor. leak in the air lines between compressor and shocks. or a bad or weak compressor.

Replace front shocks-- What kind of shock is best? Can I replace them without putting the car on a hoist?

YOU HAVE TO TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM IF YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC LEVELING AIR SPRINGS. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE ON JACK STANDS REMOVE THE OLD SHOCKS. PRIME NEW SHOCKS PUMP THEM UP COMPRESS PUT ON VECHICLE.DONT FORGOT TO TURN OFF AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM FIRST IF YOU DONT THE AIR COIL SPRINGS WILL OVER EXTEND PUMP MORE AIR IN SPRINGS CAUSE DAMAGE TO AIR SPRINGS.

1998 crown vic air suspension compressor does not pump.

Sounds like the problem is in the air bag suspension, not the compressor. The air bags shouldn't be losing air when the car sits. The compressor adjusts the suspension level according to the load. The air bags have a valve similar to a blow up raft that allows air to pass through both ways. If when the car is running the compressor is constantly running and not turning off, the issue is within the air bags and/or the air line.
