why not photo the light, or read the manual.

The engine shaped light is your Malfunction Indicator Lamp (a.k.a. Check Engine Light). If this is lit, you can take it to any Autozone or Advance Auto Parts, and they will check your codes and tell you what they mean. You can also have them clear it to see if it comes back or not.

The light will have an icon too, if the icon shows square shape rectangle with + and - symbol then its for battery, ((!)) is for hand brake and a small engine shape is for engine. You can find the images of these icon on Google as they are almost same on all cars. PS: Don't drive the car when these lights come up on dash and show your car to a good mechanic immediately.

Usually that symbol indicates that something relating to engine oil pressure is not right, and needs to be checked out, and figured out so you will not cause damage to the engine.

That RED light means ur almost out of LUBRiCANT in the ENGiNE!

Better check ur oil in the engine, don't wait for the engine to STOP and u will have a disastrous, catastrophic, and big headache! After u will know the extent of the DAMAGE to ur ENGiNE!

The engine shaped dash warning icon/symbol represents the "Check Engine Light", CEL for short.
It could be because of several things that can make the light come on. Perform a scan on the car and identify the error codes . Autozone can scan the codes for free.

it is probably your coolant level. You might want to have that checked.

Does it have a symbol on it that looks like a gas can ? If it does it most likely is the light to remind you to get gas because you are low.
