Thanks for the quick response. I hope that it turns out as easy as you have suggested. Any tips on where to start. Is it on the firewall under the hood or would it be under the dash?

Yes it is. most heater fans on chrysler products are real easy.you might find a dead mouse or mouse nest in there throwing fan off balance

the last year i worked for chrysler was 2004 but i dont think much has changed so it would be inside the car under the dash on passenger side you will have to pull off the cover that is below glove box to get at the fan. there are 3 sometimes 4 screws that hold it in and some weaseling involved getting at one of them. pull carpet down if motor wont pull out once loose that will give you enough room to get it out

Sounds like you have a transmission pump issue, you will need to take it to a tranny shop to diagnose if that is the problem if in drive it does not whine.

I have a chrysler 300, 2005 model with 3.5 liter V6. I have a noise in the front end when going over small bumps like something is loose. A metel noise. Dealer has replaced 4 tie rod end and lower...

The link pins could be the culprit if they have play in them, also the sway bar bushings can be worn. Another common noise can occur from play between the brake pads and caliper. The pads have a tab on each end that can wear over time

The heater fan on my 2005 RX 330 makes noise when it runs - particularly on low speed setting. Sounds like it needs to be oiled or something.

The fan may have come loose at the mounting points & shifted cracking or warping the fan/blades... Either that or something has fallen in & making contact with the fan

Heater blower doesnt work on 2005 chrysler 300

Locate the fuse pannel and check for blown fuse...If fuse not blown - check fan control relay for proper operation - If thats not the problem check for voltage at the switch.

Exhaust system rattling on 2005 300C. 58,000 miles!

You have a loose heat shield or a broken rubber mount.

jack your car up make sure you put some thing under need like a jack stand ( just for safety) and manually shake your muffler usually rattling noises are cause when metal rubes metal.
