Try resistors or the switch. Most likely resistors.

Have a 2009 Nissan Quest I can't turn the heat off. Just stays on a high level of blowing out heat .

If you have a fan that has different speed settings (1234, or low med high etc) and the only one that works is high - then the blower resistor pack has failed. If you have a climate control unit (where you just pick a temp you want) then the fan is controlled by the heating system and it sets fan speed. If you have climate control style try lowering the temp to a lower setting (current temp in vehicle) and see if fan slows down. If not then climate control unit or fan resistor bad. If dial type and you get nothing on lower settings (only high works like mentioned above) you need to change blower resistor. It is located under dash near the fan itself. Look for small unit bolted in duct near fan with wire plug going to it.

A/c fan suddenly speeds up then goes back to the setting 2002 vovo v40

It sounds like a dodgy thermostat/speed controller. I'm not familiar with your model. These control units are often permanently
connected to, or built into the fan assembly which will mean replacement of the whole fan unit, however, if you are lucky to have a plug in type of control unit it should be easy to replace by following the steps of a Haynes or Chilton manual.

Why wont my a/c or heater fan come on?

When the blower works only on the high setting its usually a bad blower resistor which is right near the blower motor. now you say it would always blow high regardless of the fan speed setting that would indicate probably the climate control unit or a connector problem somewhere. finally it not working at all may be the climate control unit or connection went bad even further. it might have a blown fuse or a bad blower motor in addition to the climate control unit or connector problem .check for power and ground at the blower motor. the power is supplied from fuses and may have a relay also. the ground is supplied from the climate control unit and goes through the resistor to control the fan speed. good luck

The blower motor on my heater will not turn off. When I move the switch it keeps blowing regardless of the setting.

Hello you do not specified the make and model of your car regardless you will need to locate your blower motor speed switch usually located within inches from the blower motor it self some people call this switch the blower motor isolator switch as well this controls you fan speeds.Sometimes you loose one or more speeds and usually your left with one speed before it quits all together

The blower fan cuts out intermitently regardless of fan speed when I go over a bump or take a corner. The dash had been removed to replace the evaporator and this is when the problem started. When the fan...

From what you said I would think you have a bad/loose connection. I have never had to change the fan resistor but from what I under stand usually when the resistor is bad the fan only run with the fan speed on the highest setting. If the fan quits working try putting the fan on the highest speed setting, see if fan starts working. Sorry but that all I got for now.
