How do I change the front wheel bearing in a 2001 Sonata 6 cyl

There's a website that has all this information about all this and manuals everything totally free there are many actually but I personally like few .. let me know if u need help

Not sure about your wagon, but many modern models do not have replaceable wheel bearings without changing entire hub assembly/

it may be the sensor if it has one or it may be the unit it self

Go under the vehicle and check the four wheel drive linkage.

No way ,its a strip the the whole hub unit off and there is a circlip coming in from the back ,which is the way the bearing is pushed out ,NO HAMMERS

could be upper strut mounts, or bearing plates on front suspension, after all water is a mild lubricant

You change One spark plug, and One wire at a time. Do you know where your timing belt is? If not, its on either the right or left side of the engine. There is a covor to the timing belt. You take the First plug that is closest to that belt. Then you work your way to the next closest all the way to the last one. Remember, you have to do ONE at a time.

pretty simple really remove wheel you can usually remove rotor with brake caliper still together as to not upset brake shoes in the center of the wheel hub there is a cap that you remove with screw driver and there will be a nut which will have a split pin or a lock washer installed to to stop nut from coming loose remove split pin or flatten out tabs on lock washer and remove main nut the remove rotor to reveal wheel bearings replace re grease and reassemble dont do up main nut over tight make sure wheel is free spinning without excess movement be sure to fold lockwasher tabs or place split pin remember if you have a problem you always have the other side to go on dont pull both sides apart at the same time hope this is helpfull any more questions just ask glenn.......

It sounds to me like "they" do not know (for sure) what they are doing.

u have to take the hub off. and press the wheel bearing out. it takes alittle time to do bc u have to take your rotor and brake assembly off to get to the hub.
