Both fans not working on my v reg 2000 ford focus

Did something happen recently. not normal for them to quit but there are fuses and relays to control them. one is for cooling engine temp and the other comes on with the a/c. if the engine is running and you turn on the a/c you should get one fan on. do you have an autozone in your area or advanced auto parts they both have scanners and ford systems has a self test through the scanner that will check the fans.did you look to see if anything fell in the housing and is blocking them - can you move the blades (with engine off) as it gets warm you will need those fans so try checking all these and if it helps please reply and good luck

I have just bought this focus and it had been in a bump before i got it and the front bumper is damaged at the passenger side and the wing is slightly damaged none of the fans are coming on even when i turn the a/c on i can move the fans by hand with the engine off so there is nothing blocking them ive had the fans off to see if i could see any damage to them but couldnt see anything. i was also told this car had just passed a mot an hour before i bought it and i was given a pass certificate but when i had it jacked up there is play in both front wheels and there is a knocking sound when i move them from side to side and the steering wheel is sitting off and i didnt even get a advisory notice with it
