Ok this one sounds like your water pump may be going bad
i am not so sure that you are not hearing the pump squeal and not the belt but to be sure take a bar of soap rub it around the belt as good as you can then start the car if the squeal goes away its the belt if not have your water pump checked by a service tech.

Belt slipped off leaked antifreeze can i replace the belt and still be able to drive it

if there was a coolant leak then the squeak is more than likely the water pump hence the leak, a belt coming off would'nt cause a coolant leak on its own ,i'd get the water pump checked

The engine in my automatic '91 Integra intermittently makes a loud squeaking noise...it sounds to be coming from the left side of the car under the hood. It is not the fan/fan belt, as the noise...

are you sure its not your fan belts? because if fan belts are not turning, it means that the engine is off. check if the tension in your fan belts are still ok. if not, have it re tensioned. if noise is still present, have it changed.

Weird squeaking noise from under hood started from sitting an hour after being driven ,noise goes away when accelerating but comes back when not ,when parked noise is constant a type of squeaking noise

You should have your belts checked for proper tension. If they're squeaking when the engine is at a low RPM then they are most likely loose and need to be tightened. However, that squeak may also be an indication that one of the tensioners in the belt's line may be wearing down. If that is the case the tensioner will need to be replaced since the bearing inside is worn down beyond the point where lubrication would be useful.

Squeaking noise and antifreeze leaking....waterpump replcement perhaps?

With the engine turned off, put your finger up behind under the pump pulley. if you find antifreeze there likely the pump seal has failed. Otherwise, locate the leak source and make whatever repair is necessary. You will get a noise any time water or coolant gets on the drive belt. Best to look before going through a pump replacement to find later you have a pin hole in the radiator on a hose!!!

Recently replaced my thermostate in my 2000 Ford Taurus and in the mist of that antifreeze out of the back up resivor spilled on my belt and now they are making an awful squeaking noise an I have tried...

With the engine off, try using a soapy solution using dishwashing liquid, and rag to clean the belt and pulleys. Antifreeze is very slippery and sticks to surfaces. Clean it the best you can, and also tighten the belt slightly.

I have a really high squeaking noise coming from my engine now and my water pump has been leaking for awhile but i havent got to it yet but my best guess is that its the belt around my water pump but im...

I would replace the faulty waterpump and belt asap you could cause major engine damage by overheating it . the squealing is either caused by the belt slipping from having antifreeze on it or the water pump may have totally locked up .

Squealing noise coming from the belts while engine is running

take off your serp-belt and spin your water pump, alternator, idler pully and see what squeaks or feels rough. your water pump bearings may be bad. the only thing you can do is change it. dont forget to change your thermostat and antifreeze. FYI your antifreeze is made with lubricants in it for your water pump bearings.
