Engine starts, runs 4 to 5 seconds and shuts off. Engine will immediately restart and run 4 to 5 seconds and shut off. Dashboard is showing no codes being activated.

No codes ???? Just OBD2 engine codes or full vehicle scan ? BCM - body control module DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's > Or u code's - communication network codes . A control module on the way out will cause network communication problems . Or anti-theft system problem . This will have you going round in circles - Suspect some intermittent wiring or ground issue.... Voltage drop test main power an grounds .

Run the fault code test and see what shows up, bet the Crank sensor code shows.

Replace the map sensor.

Put in new fuel pump

you will have to find out what code it is showing and fix it

Could be any of several things. If the crank sensor is marginal and not sending pulses, the fuel pump is shut off. This is for safety. The pump is energized for a few seconds as key is turned in preparation for starting then engine must rotate normally to keep the pump on. If it stops, in a few seconds the fuel is cut off.

Replace the gas cap.

Crank sensor a good possibility. Any codes?
