IT sounds like your brake mastercylinder has went out so what you need to do is get a new mastercylinder and replace that and bleed out the whole brake system after you put on the new mastercylinder.

Search for the brake fluid leak the brake system is a sealed unit if going through fluid like crazy it is leaking somewhere look under at back of tires and along the top of fuel tank for fluid if not noticeable on floor also inspect the brake booster

Lost breaks on 2000 pontiac grand am

If your brake pedal went into the floor and there is no braking power that can mean that you have lost pressure in the braking system, this can be caused by two factors. One, a leaking brake cylinder by the caliper, or two damage to the brake booster, which means the seal that is inside is gone. Both are easily replaceable, well the brake booster has to be replaced not the seal, but the cylinder at the wheel can be reconditioned by replacing seals and the boot.

When i push down on the brake pedal air leaks out around the rod and the pedal goes to the floor.

Check the vacuum line on the power brake booster, the diaphram may be pushing the air down the rod, the break booster may be defective all together if the vacuum line is intact.

I have a dodge grand caravan and last week its brake pedal goes to the floor, and if i want to stop my car i have to push the pedal several times. Can you please give me some kind of clue.

Its very possible that you have a bad master cylinder or power booster.I would check your master cylinder first. Also I would check the rear wheel cylinders and calipers for any kind of fluid leaks.

INSTALLED NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS ON MY 2006 DODGE CARAVAN AND NOW PEDAL GOES TO FLOOR, I DID NOT DISCONNECT ANYTHING. WHY WOULD THIS HAPPEN?

When you push the caliper piston in to install the new brake pads, you have to keep pumping the brake paddle after the new pads and every thing is put back together, the paddle will come back up, do it with the engine off.

My brake pedal is hard to push in. the car wont/ is hard to stop. i replace the brake pads and the calipers. what could be the problem now?

i guess your brake booster is the problem. try this.... engine not running just pump the brake at least 25 times at the 25 count, just keep your feet on the brake pedal and start the engine. if the brake pedal won't go down even a little... your brake booster is gone. or something with the vacuum.
