New??? That's funny. your best bet is to follow the car parts flee markets. You might find them there. They have like, four events here Indy a year( but they are all over the place). Get all the old parts you want.

Tire-Go by the label on the door jam on the driver's door
Oil-Follow the manufacturer's recommendation in the owner's manual
Maintenance-Today's cars usually come with a maintenance schedule. Follow the proper maintenance for the mileage your car currently has on it.
If that puppy has only 45,000 miles on it, the timing chain shouldn't have to be replaced until it's between 120,000 and 150,000 miles.

93 Honda Accord Lx will not start. It turns over, has brand new battery and fuel but will not start. Any Ideas. There is nothing taping or clicking that I can hear when it turns over either.

Do you have spark, check a plug wire?

Have the TPS voltage checked first. It is set when new to a certain voltage and as time goes by through the years it will wear old leaving a flat spot you might say causing a hesitation when taking off accellerating

Wobble in the front of the car when its going 0-30mph only

you may have a broken belt in one of the tires. to ck this out have someone look at each tire while moving very slowly - the tire will look "egg" shaped if a belt is broken

Need new tires, no v speed rated tires 2 b found. other type?

I just researched the v vs h situation..
I went to good old reliable tirerack.com
there are tires available for your 95 accord in the v and h categories... you can have them delivered to your front door for about 45 bucks... so you still can get your v tires... the only difference is the v is rated for 149 mph and the h is rated for 130mph.... they both are recommended for coupes and sedans...

If you can tell me the size of your current tires, I can give you a correct 15" tire size to keep as close as possible to your stock calibrations for speedometer, odometer, and suspension clearance.

After alignment car still pulls to right(straight road, tires inflated properly,brand new tires) steering off centered.

rotate the tires and if keeps doing take the car to a diferent shop and make sure to ask for the lates or at least a laser aligment machine, before chosing next place, but firts rotate tires and drive car.

They may well fit ... whether you should use them or not is a different issue. Everything is based on the tire size ... fuel economy - speed indicators - how your car handles in everyday and emergency situations - how it sits at the curb, stops, starts, climbs hills ... much more.

There is a school of thought that says tires have a practical, useful, safe, life of about 5 years <> whether they are on the car on in the garage on the shelf. Old tires will not perform well ... for the relative little that tires cost in comparison to what you depend upon (safety of you and your family) get new tires in the load range and size that Honda recommends for your 2001 Accord.
