first thing i would do is remove batteries from your key fobs.one could be "acting out' intermittently and enabaling auto down feature.another possibility is left front door lock cylinder switch doing this.do all doors unlock when you cycle door key switch twice?if not definitely something to look at esp if someone recently tried to slim jim your door.
as wierd as this sounds, where the door meets the car at the rubber seal, rub canola oil or some kind of cooking oil, it does not freeze and the door will not stick to the car. Another problem can be that the check strap, the little strap (usually looks like a little metal bar that comes out the front edge of the door between the two hinges) gets sticky. White grease can help that sometimes.
If you have the door panel loose you should be able to see the plastic clips that are holding that in or a plug you can undo to be able to remove the panel completely. If it has clips you can release them with a screw driver.
