You're best to remove the entire column and do it in the bench, if you can get a diagram it will help a lot, assembilng a steering column is tricky, some parts are spring loaded and others only assemble in in the proper order, you got the steering column out, now you will need a tool to depress the lock plate, remove the c clip and the plate, then remove the signal arm and fourway button, remove the signal switch plate remember how everything came out,you should be able to remove the steerin shafe and get at the four bolts holding the tilt mechanism, four reverse torx bolts, reassemble and install, good luck
