SOURCE: 1992 Dodge Dakota 2wd 3.9L V6 Air conditioning/Heater dosent blow? when i turn the air or the heat on i can hear the compressor kick on but it dosen't blow cold or hot? any help would be appreciated

Roger it sounds like the blower motor is not comming on. There is a resistor network located in the engine compartment on the passenger side mounted to the firewall, that controlls the blower motor. The connections may have corroted or the unit itself is bad. That was the first thing I had to relpace when I got my used 92 Dakota. There is also a 30 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash board . If that is blown I would suspect the blower motor is seized up or just pulling too much power.

Ac wont blow cool

check the actuator door on the heater and make sure it is opening an closing the door on the heater to transfer from heat to ac. It is a small motor attached to the heater and allows the ac to be directed to the vents.

Ac fan wont blow

I would disconnect the fan connector and use contact cleaner to clean the connection. Usually corrosion. Also fan might be going bad (Common Problem).

Changed altenetor and plugs now a.c. blows super hot air and heater dosent blow very hot

Hi Dave, Hope you didn't damage the AC pipes. Make sure the belts are correctly tightened, start the engine and check the drier check glass (usually a small glass on top of the unit) turn on the AC and if you see bubbles inside it you should be okay. (If you hear a squeeling when the AC is turned on, tighten the belt more than you have. Regards John

05 cobalt ac and heat wont blow air

you said your issue is the blower motor not working, the resistor likes to take a **** on these A LOT ($65). and if that doesn't fix it, it could be a issue with the heater control module. Ive had these issues with my 06 SS several times due to my stupidly high millage. Hopes this helps

I have a 2003 chevy suburban. Front ac wont blow anything out, but rear ac works fine. What can be the problem?

Where is this resistor located? I've tested my blower and it is fine. Definitely a resistor problem for me, but I don't know where it is
