1/4" screw driver type but driver or 6 point 1/4" , 1/4" drive socket, extension & rachet H= horizontal or side-to-side, V=vertical or up and down . Car on level surface right tire pressure and 160 lb driver with a full tank of gas nothing else nothing more while the driver is in the car adjusting 04 horizontal and level four vertical on the Bubble Level

The headlamps have a torx bolt to set the headliamps
One on top and one on the side.
The heads are 8 pointed head screws

To remove first you want to remove the headlight door mounting screws and remove the headlight door. Then you want to remove the 4 retainer ring screws and remove the retainer ring from the headlight. Then you want to pull the headlight bulb forward and detach the wiring connector.

To install you first want to attach the wiring connector to the headlight bulb and place the bulb in position, locating the bulb glass tabs in the positioning slots. Then you will attach the bulb retainer ring to the assembly with the retainer ring screws. Then you will install the headlight door and secure with the screws. Then you will check the headlight bulb aim and adjust as necessary

It sounds like they didn't get the cooling system filled completely, there's an air bubble. I had a problem with a 2000 Oldsmobile overheating, it turned out to be the aftermarket thermostat. I bought a stat from GM the problem went away.
