The simplest way would be to run a wire from the positive battery post to your toggle switch. Make sure you put a fuse in it. Then run from the toggle switch back out to the fan. Unplug the factory wiring and plug you wire onto the power feed terminal at the fans. To find that, just use a jumper wire from the battery to each prong on the fan until it turns on. Plug your toggle switch to that prong. Hope this helps.

Where does the steering pump cooler go on a 2002 pontiac trans am 5.7 liter ws6?

The power steering pump has hoses that attach to the coolant pipe (silver pipe). The silver pipe is basically all coolant and inside that pipe has capillary tubes that has the power steering fluid flowing through it. It's basically an air to water power steering cooler. One hose should be coming from the power steering pump and the other should be coming from the rack.

2001 Trans Am WS6 My windshield wipers only work on high and stop in the middle of the windshield or whayever point I turn the switch off. I just replaced the control lever (turn signal stalk) and that...

This sounds like the wiper control module. Most of these are a module attached to the wiper motor but are replaceable seperate from the wiper transmisson.

1996 Pontiac Firebird is running hot

You can do the following with a cold car.

The switch for the electric fan is in the radiator (it responds to the temperature of the water in the radiator, not the temperature of the water in the engine). With the engine running, if the switch has 2 wire on it, pull those two wires and briefly touch them together. If it has only 1 wire, tough that wire to ground. The fan should come on. If it does, the problem is the switch. If not, then the relay or the fan, or the fan's fuse is to blame.

Hi i switched a 3.8 out of a 2001 firebird to a 5.7 out of a 1997 trans am ws6 but know my key is not responing when i turn key? is it any way to reprogram my car computer or the key so it will work?

If the security light isn't flashing that's not the problem. Some of these newer systems are really finicky, try doing a reset by pulling the negative cable from the battery.

My 1996 formula ws6 is running hot when it idles, what can cause this?

If the fan does not come on and the car is stationary then the car will overheat. Whilst the car is on the move enough airflow through the radiator will keep the overheating issue in check. Try putting the interior heater on to full if you see the car getting hot in future - this is little trick that assists the engine cooling and that might just get you to where you want to go in an emergency. Check the fan, the fan relay and fuse and any electrical wiring for continuity

I am looking for a wiring schematic for a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am

If you become an on-line member of autozone.com they give you free access to any car's online manuals that have wiring schematics and diagrams.

OR

http://www.afrashteh.com/pics/93-02%20Firebird%20Parts%20Manual.pdf

That's the online manual though the quality isn't the best and it takes a long time to download.

1997 firebird radiator fans are not coming on.

So if you tried another relay & they work, you need a new relay, right?
