There is some sealed units with no drain or fill. Or it could be on the driver side bottem of the transmission but is not accessable because it is too close to the frame. Hope you find it and its accessable.
Did you ever solve this problem with your windows? My 03 Ion 2 is doing the same thing. We think it's a wiring issue. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kristen N!
on the inside of your door there is a little plastic cover shaped like a triangle pull that off and there will be a couple of bolts and a wire disconnect the wire and take out the bolts then pull the mirror off the when you put the new on connect the wire then put the bolts back in and the plastic piece back on..
Just a screw driver and a wrench or socket (actual size varies with cars) On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to
get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel
and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and
disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
