Can i up grade my brake discs as ican not find any avalible any models the same which fit the same

The only way to do that would be fit an axle from a much newer model. It is easy enough to fit a new hub with a disc, but you have to hang a brake caliper somewhere, then you need the hydraulic pipes and some type of splitter to the master cylinder and front discs. The best bet is stick with the drum brakes or invest in a new truck. 1999 is pretty old.

Here are some video ideas though from people who say they did it..

the first year after your model that had disc brakes fitted as standard
problems include hand brake cable(different)
need a different proportioning valve in the brakes system to the rear
the stopper will be suspension mounting points or if the rear axle has gone independent

You have a warped Brake rotor .Or your brake pads could of broke.

All four brakes must be bled to eliminate the trapped air...probably not anything else...try lubricating the bleeder fitting with PB Blaster before trying to open...be cautious as this valve can break off, and that means rebuild the caliper drill out broken fitting...or replace caliper...either way all 4 brakes must be bled...start with the rear farthest away from the master cylinder then other rear...then right front, then last is left front...Hope this helps.

You have to take the whole brake unit off the disc. Usually two bolts holding it to it's mounting. Fit the new pads to it and put it back on. You will have to force them apart to fit them over the disc. Should not need to bleed the brakes. Make sure the bolts are tight.

you need a special tool avalable at most parts stores. its a disc brake piston turning tool. you have to rotate piston clockwise while pushing in on piston. you can fabricate something that enguages the slots and push and turn till all the way in.make sure to note position of slots and put them in same place as was before or the pin on the pads wont enguage the slot

You can use your stock rotors with ceramic pads. If you feel that the pads wore down too quickly then they may have been a less than optimal type. Keeping disc brakes clean is key to making them last longer. When there is brake dust and naturally occurring rust built up in the calipers and slides, then they don't release immediately or completely when you let off the brake pedal and they may actually drag your pads.

front ones remove wire clip remove bolts from caliper hang caliper out of way remove pads remove 2 bolts from pad carrier put to one side remove 2 disc retaining bolts remove disc may need hammer clean hub flange with wire brush fit new disc clean pad carrier and refit fit new pads put some copper grease on back of pads push in caliper piston slowly using large grips or g clamp fit and secure caliper pump up brake pedal check brake fluid level do other side for rear brakes see my solutions

with car on stands use punch to remove pad retaining pins pull out pads can be tight remove 2 calliper retaining bolts move calliper away from disc remove disc retaining bolts remove disc check hand brake shoes and clean look for adjuster between shoes if it has one back it of some models just have hand brake cabel adjustment clean and fit new disc secure adjust hand brake shoes using screw driver through wheel bolt hole clean refit calliper slowley push back calliper pistons fit new pads refit retaining pins do other side pump up brake pedal check and adjust handbrake if neededcheck brake fluid level

it can have either one. depends on the model you have.look at the rear wheel and you should see a drum or a disc.
