I have hyundai 2004 santa fe car.auoto tran. And sport mode. My problem: During driving , suddenlly,car restricted or stuck.(exactly ,like driver change gear From #3 to gear#1 in manual transmission car. after that : -(CHECK ENGIN)light comes (ON). -Gear can not be change and still on gear #3. If my engine swiched off, then gear can be changed.but check engine light stall for many days .

The 2004 Santa Fe transmission doesn't have a serviceable filter.
There's one deep inside the transmission, but the transmission needs to
be removed and disassembled to get to it. The only time that filter
would be replaced is if the transmission were overhauled. This is the
answer I found online, and after trying to change the filter on a 2002
Santa Fe.
Hi, thanks, i phoned a supplier, and they have the Mitchell on demand and they gave me the information required. you need to remove the shifter at the top on trans you remove bolt and black plastic ring. it release the clutch fork that holds the clutch bearing in place. hope that this helps anybody else that will try this job.
